Multilayer plated poplar panels are a special type of panel clad with precious woods on both sides or only on the top with poplar or ceiba backing.
The precious wood species used include: Precious wood species: fir, maple, ayous, birch, European and American cherry, douglas fir, beech, ash tree, iroko, mahogany, walnut, alder, American pine and knot pine, oak and tanganyika.
The qualities and wood species are agreed with the customer on a case-by-case basis.

What are plated poplar multilayer panels
Plated multilayer poplar panels are elements that have been carefully designed from both a practical and an aesthetic point of view to offer maximum performance on both fronts.
I.C.T.A. uses only glues conforming to class E1 (formaldehyde Gas < 0.35 mg/m3) as per ACGIH 1992 – 1993 and following.
- Class 1: dry environment (suitable for indoor and dry environments)
- Adhesive: urea
- Class 2: humid environment (suitable for outdoors and humid environments)
- Adhesive: melamine/urea
